[edit]My name us Vesta Sithole the wife of the late Reverand Ndabaningi Sithole. I would like to point or correct the notion put forward that Mugabe was elected to lead ZANU in 1975. There were no elections conducted during 1975. Mugabe usurped power while in Mozambique. Ndabaningi and Rothert never stood on the same platform to be elected as leaders of ZANU. The only Congress that elected leaders for ZANU was held in 1964 at Gwelo where Ndabaningi Sithole was elected president and he (Sithole) appointed Mugabe his secretary general.
- I have made the changes you suggested. If you have more to add from your perspective around the revolutionary war, please do so. I suggest you create an account, and edit the pages yourself. If you need help or advice, the Talk pages like this are fine, or you can use my Talk page. Any more or Herbert Chitepo or ZANU history would be most welcome, but please keep things strictly factual.
